work intensive. There\u2019s hard labor, but it\u2019s to be expected on a farm and the food was really good. The staff was very kind, particularly Helen, Dutra, Maria and Bart. Also, there\u2019s two lovely, friendly dogs that love to get scratches\/pets. I believed in its mission and how much it was going to help me grow not only as an academic but as a person. I really enjoyed the farm and learning about sustainable agriculture, agroforestry and generally reconnecting with nature. As a person that lives in a desertic, industrial area where these practices are pretty much unheard of, it makes me happy to know that there are projects like Eco Caminhos that push for a better environment and balance harmony between human beings and nature as it was intended to be. The hikes, hands on agroforestry and bio construction were the best for me. I was looking for new experiences and to find myself liking new things, for growth within myself and change.
