Em agosto, foi organizado um acampamento para os voluntários, incluindo Maria (nossa voluntária de curto-prazo) e sua família, em um dos pontos turísticos mais belos da região: o parque estadual dos Três Picos. A rotina de um voluntário na Eco Caminhos não se resume apenas aos trabalhos de bioconstrução, agricultura orgânica e agrofloresta, nós também gostamos de realizar muitas atividades juntos, como noites de filmes e de voluntários, trilhas e diversos tipos de passeios. O local conta com um conjunto de montanhas graníticas e é o ponto mais alto da Serra do Mar, chegando a 2.366 metros acima do nível do mar. Também é o maior parque do estado do Rio de Janeiro e abrange os municípios de Teresópolis, Nova Friburgo, Guapimirim, Silva Jardim e Cachoeiras de Macacu.
Os preparativos para a viagem começaram com a compra e elaboração do cardápio. Nossas refeições contaram com um jantar na fogueira durante o primeiro dia, o café da manhã no segundo dia, que antecedeu a trilha, e algumas comidas para nos reabastecer durante o trajeto. Quem conhece o grupo sabe que comida está sempre entre nossas prioridades rs. O cardápio incluiu hambúrgueres de berinjela, sopa, milho para pipoca, batatas, pão, biscoitos e uma variedade de frutas. Bom, de fome ninguém morreu!
Então na tarde do dia 29 de agosto, malas e comidas já estavam prontas, barracas a postos e todos muito animados seguimos de carro até a entrada do parque. Uma primeira caminhada de uma hora (sem guia) nos levou ao Vale dos Deuses (1.700 metros), onde fica a área de camping (gratuita): com banheiros, chuveiro (frio), pia, fogão à lenha e local para fogueira, ps: não há energia elétrica. A partir do camping você pode escolher para onde seguir. São várias opções de trilhas, todas sinalizadas com informações sobre nível de dificuldade e tempo de trajeto. Um pouco antes da área de camping tem uma base dos guardas do parque que foram super solícitos em nos ajudar com informações.
Chegamos, montamos nossas barracas, aproveitamos o fim da tarde jogando frisbee e quando estava anoitecendo acendemos a fogueira para começar a comilança e espantar o frio. Também rolou um luau com muita cantoria e violão junto com nossos vizinhos de camping. No dia seguinte, acordamos cedo, tomamos café da manhã reforçado e optamos por fazer a trilha da Cabeça do Dragão por ser relativamente fácil e curta (4 km de ida, cerca de 1h30min, altura máxima 2.082m). O dia estava nublado, então a vista não estava tão boa, porém foi um clima bom para a caminhada. No pico ventava bastante, mas valeu a pena o esforço para estar mais perto do céu.
Essas ocasiões aproximam ainda mais o grupo, proporcionando momentos de integração, relaxamento e diversão para todos. Esse é mais um lado da vida cotidiana dos voluntários que vem para Eco Caminhos em busca de novas experiências, contato com a natureza e vida em comunidade. Se interessa em viver isso com a gente?
