Portuguese Language School
in Brazil

Caminhos Language Centre is one of the initiatives that is part of our network. Located in Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro, the school welcomes international students who want to learn Portuguese and experience Brazilian culture in an authentic way.

Through a cultural immersion approach, Caminhos connects students from different countries with the Portuguese language, local communities, and the many experiences that Brazil has to offer.

The partnership between Caminhos Language Centre and Eco Caminhos allows students to have an even more complete journey: starting with Portuguese learning and discovering the urban culture of Rio de Janeiro, and continuing with an immersion in nature, permaculture, and sustainable living in the mountains of the Atlantic Forest.

Voted #1 by Students on TripAdvisor

The school has a well-established homestay program in Rio de Janeiro, giving students the opportunity to stay with local Brazilian families. This allows students to fully immerse themselves in Brazilian culture and practice Portuguese in real-life situations. The school aims to provide a complete Rio de Janeiro experience without overcharging. Group Portuguese courses start at around R$23 (approximately €6) per hour, making them some of the most affordable options in the city.

The school is able to offer these great prices because it has grown to become the largest language school in Rio, and one of the largest in Brazil. The best way to see if all these positive words are true is by checking out the school’s TripAdvisor page, where it ranks as the number one language school in Rio de Janeiro.

Building harmony between
people and nature.

Ecolibrium was born in Nova Friburgo, in the mountain region of Rio de Janeiro, and brings together people, communities, and partners from different parts of the world around a shared purpose: restoring the relationship between humanity and nature. In response to today’s social and environmental challenges, Ecolibrium promotes learning, solidarity, and positive change through actions inspired by permaculture principles. Its main project is the development of Ecolibrium Space, a 1,200m² multifunctional sustainable bioconstruction complex that will serve as a living classroom, restaurant, accommodation space, and community hub, bringing together volunteers, students, and local communities to learn, build, and live in harmony with nature.

Protecting the Atlantic Forest
through science and action.

ARAÇÁ (Atlantic Forest Research and Conservation Alliance) works to protect and restore the Atlantic Forest through research, conservation, and sustainable land management. Located within the Alto da Figueira Private Natural Heritage Reserve (RPPN Alto da Figueira) near Nova Friburgo, the project operates a state-of-the-art research field station that supports scientists, students, and professionals studying biodiversity and rainforest ecosystems. It also directly manages more than 420 hectares of largely preserved Atlantic Forest, with the goal of expanding protected ecological corridors to improve habitat connectivity. In addition, ARAÇÁ promotes reforestation, sustainable land stewardship that benefits both nature and local communities, and conscious ecotourism initiatives that foster environmental awareness and support long-term conservation efforts.

Innovating for a
Regenerative Future

Regenera BioLab is a socio-environmental initiative dedicated to biodiversity conservation, Atlantic Forest restoration, and the development of innovative solutions for ecosystem regeneration.

As a leading hub for research, education, and conservation, the project supports the creation of ecological corridors that connect native forest areas, helping protect wildlife, plant species, and vital water resources. By integrating science, sustainability, and hands-on action, Regenera BioLab develops projects that contribute to the restoration of degraded landscapes and the creation of a more resilient future.

Sharing the same values as Eco Caminhos, Regenera BioLab believes that environmental conservation depends on collaboration between researchers, organizations, local communities, and individuals committed to nature regeneration. Together, we transform knowledge into meaningful action, creating a positive impact on the Atlantic Forest and for future generations.
