Dear Community Eco Caminhos,

Unity is strength. And in September, we welcomed spring by joining forces to share knowledge and raise awareness about nature and the importance of protecting it.
The initiative was organized by Regenera Bio Lab in partnership with Associação Ecolibrium, Instituto Marianeira, Aventura Animal, and other partners. Representing Ecolibrium and Eco Caminhos, Bart, Ana, Anderson, Jonathan, and Sérgio took part in a collective effort to install flora and fauna identification signs along the Witch’s hat Trail.
It was a day not only of hands-on work, but also of meaningful exchanges and learning. We also had the pleasure of enjoying an incredible honey-tasting experience featuring honey from native stingless bees, generously offered by Meliponário Nativas de Parque.
D-Day – River Clean-Up Initiative

In support of nature and a more sustainable future, Jonathan, Sérgio, and Sam, a volunteer from Australia, took part in a very special event: D-Day, the Bengalas River Clean-Up Initiative. Organized by Águas de Nova Friburgo and Instituto Marianeira, the initiative brought together people and organizations in a collective effort to clean up and preserve the river. Eco Caminhos was invited to be part of this important movement.
Taking part in initiatives like this reinforces our commitment to nature conservation and shows that, when we join forces, we can make a real difference in the places where we live.
Celebrated as a universal metaphor for renewal, spring symbolizes the rebirth of life, youth, and hope. Here at the farm, the season of flowers brought this symbolism in the form of four legs (or eight!): we were delighted to discover that our cow, Mascarada, had given birth to two beautiful, healthy twin calves — Ragnar and Uhtred.
With the probability of twins in cattle pregnancies estimated at just 1% to 5%, nature offered us a moment to reflect on the beauty of unlikely events and how the universe’s rare blessings can come our way at any time.

Non-violent Communication Workshop
We set aside a special moment to reflect on how we communicate, work, and live together as a team. Facilitated by Ingrid Feldman and Maria Uchoa, the session included listening and reflection activities, creating an open and welcoming space to share experiences, ideas, and different perspectives.
It was an opportunity to listen to one another, reflect on our challenges, and explore new ways to communicate, collaborate, and strengthen our relationships. We continue to invest time and energy in building an increasingly healthy, mindful, and collaborative environment.
Yaneth’s Return
Seven months ago, we welcomed Yaneth, a charismatic architect and dancer full of energy, who came all the way from Colombia, bringing her knowledge and a strong desire to learn and contribute. Her first stay was short, as she had to return to Germany, but this month, she decided to come back and become part of our community for an entire year!
We’re so happy to have her back and look forward to sharing this new chapter together. Estamos muito gratos e felizes por recebê-la aqui na Eco Caminhos e temos a certeza que sua presença irá somar muito a nossa comunidade! Seja bem vinda de volta, Yaneth!
