Eco Caminhos is a beautiful 287,000 m2 property set amidst mountains, forests, natural water sources and a waterfall. The eco-farm has two protected native forest areas and is 6 km from the nearest city, Nova Friburgo, and about a three-hour drive from Rio de Janeiro. Here you will live in community with people from all over the world and have a healthy and conscious life.

Organic Garden

In our organic garden we have: pumpkin, zucchini, carrots, kale, sweet potatoes, chives, leeks, garlic, peas, watercress, lettuce, olives, beets, broccoli, nasturtium, chicory, spinach, basil, parsley, oregano, radish, arugula, tomato, banana, cucumber, lemon, orange, strawberry, peach, lemon balm, bilberry, mint, lemon grass, corn, turnip, beans, mustard, cauliflower, cabbage, fennel, sunflower, avocado, papaya, hazelnut, coriander, manioc, ginger and turmeric.

Free Time

During our free time, our volunteers take the hiking trails around Eco Caminhos (Três Picos, Pico da Caledônia, Chapéu da Bruxa e Pico do São Lourenço), camp, enjoy waterfalls, bonfires, movie nights, go downtown Nova Friburgo or stroll the beaches of Rio de Janeiro.
