Our University Study Abroad Program takes students on a journey through two inspiring learning environments:

First stop: Rio de Janeiro – At Caminhos Language Centre, students dive into intensive Portuguese lessons at the city’s #1 language school, while living the vibrant Rio Ipanema Beach lifestyle and exploring Rio’s cultural highlights.

Next: The Atlantic Rainforest – At Eco Caminhos in Nova Friburgo, students immerse themselves in eco farm life, gaining hands-on experience in permaculture, agroforestry, natural building, eco tourism, and social impact projects that make a real difference in the community.

20-hour weekly course (4 hours/day, Monday–Friday) focused on real-life communication and cultural fluency.

We offer optional airport pickup and transport from Rio de Janeiro to Eco Caminhos. Just ask—we’ll make your arrival smooth and stress-free.

You can come to the Eco Farm carefree. The rural community surrounding the Eco Farm is  extremely safe. We live with our doors and windows open since we first arrived here. Also the city Nova Friburgo which is nearby has a very low violence rate compared to the big cities in Brazil.
