Experience life on a Permaculture Farm and enjoy eco sports
Eco Caminhos receives groups from around the world, offering customized programs that allow groups to experience what a self-sustaining eco farm is all about while exploring the region’s rich flora and fauna. Eco Caminhos is situated in the beautiful mountains of the Atlantic Forest on the outskirts of the Três Picos (“Three Peaks”) State Park, close to the city of Nova Friburgo. It is the perfect base from which to go on hikes with stunning views and to visit waterfalls and natural pools.
You will also have the opportunity to participate in several workshops in agroforestry, bioconstruction, , permaculture, and more! Whatever your interests are – our experts in the field will guide you through the learning process as you discover new ideas and develop new skills with hands-on training and practical experience.
Caminhos in Action – Help the community
Eco Caminhos is driven by ethical principles rooted in permaculture philosophy. In 2022 we oficialy became partners with Off Grid a social project in the city of Nova Friburgo. Off Grid works with permaculture in the Padre Rafael school. With a group of canedian students we have constructed a playground and taught english classes in the school. Since a year teenagers of the community come once a week to Eco Caminhos to participate in agroforestry and bioconstruction. In the passed we have refurbish the houses of impoverished families (and eco-friendly!) bioconstruction techniques. So if you want to impact the local community here we can think of a nice project together.

Where will you be staying?
Groups can choose to stay at an all-inclusive luxury guest house with incredible facilities or go for the cheaper and more basic option of staying at a local farm. While we are committed to creating a complete and unforgettable eco experience for your group, you are welcome to organize your own events here as well.
